“The smart one does not command people to abandon the dunya, because this is impossible for them. Rather, he has them abandon sins while they are established in their dunya.
This is because abandoning the dunya is an optional virtue while abandoning sins is an obligation.
So, how can he command them with something optional while they have not even fulfilled what is obligatory?
If it is difficult for them to abandon sins, he should then strive to get them to love Allah by reminding them of His signs, blessings, Kindness, perfection, and Loftiness.
This is because the hearts are naturally designed to love Him, and if they become attached to loving Him, it then becomes extremely easy to abandon sins and to detach one-self from them.
Yahya bin Mu’adh said: “The intelligent one seeking the dunya is better than the ignorant one abandoning it.”
The smart one calls the people to Allah from their dunya, and this makes it easier for them to respond to him.
The Shahid calls them to Allah by way of abandoning the dunya, and this makes it hard for them to respond, since it is very hard to pull someone away from the breast that he has developed his mind while suckling on” [‘al-Fawa’id’; p. 233-234]
Praise be to Allah and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah and his family, companions, and those who stood by him.
Dear Brothers and sisters, May the peace, blessing, and Mercy of Allah be upon you.
How can we earn the forgiveness of Allah and be rewarded with his paradise?
There is a way for this, and that is to forgive others.
Today, people call it “the general forgiveness”, and that will become of you every night to forgive and forget.
Apply each night at bedtime to pardon everyone who has insulted you
And has spoken ill of you, In other words, cleanse this heart of anger, envy and hostility
How much should you give way to feelings like envy, hatred, deceit, resentment, and hostility?
By Allah, how will peace be made with this heart?
You will be the victim of this before the punishment of the Hereafter
You will be the one that suffers and not the one you’re upset with, or want to take revenge on
As one of the Westerners say “Whoever carries hostility with him, their toes furnaces the fire, and advances it into the chest. That oven than burns you”
We therefore need to forgive people, in the hope that Allah forgives us. He says: “And when you accompany rage, then forgive and Allah loves the righteous.”
Our life cannot bear to have a hostile attitude towards others.
A life full of hatred towards people results in living in a (created) prison, a punishment for man.
I want us, if we were lucky, to earn the forgiveness and Paradise of Allah
so if there is someone who has wronged you, and has misbehaved in front of you.. you then forgive
That you show mercy towards all Muslims men and women
And that you remember the rights of others which you forgot and also the rights to others you’ve met. If you will do this, you will experience peace and tranquility.
One of the scholars said: “When you go to bed, clean your heart – so to forgive seven times, and the eighth time with mercy”
They say:”May Allah forgive all men, May Allah forgive those who have wronged us.
May Allah guides us, and forgives those who have misbehaved. May Allah be merciful to those who have spoken ill of us.
“May Allah forgive us, and every other Muslim.”
In other words, know the rights, so that the reward of Allah will find you, and Allah treats people the way they treat His servants.
The one who forgives others and shows mercy, Allah forgives him and gives him favor.
And the one who does not do this, Allah makes it difficult and troublesome for him on the Day of Judgement
In that He (Peace Be Upon Him) said: “O Allah, the person who is entrusted of my community and shows mercy, be merciful to him. And the person who is entrusted of my community but makes it difficult for them, then make it difficult for him.”
You must therefore know that someone who does something, he is also met with it. What you do here, you will also find there (i.e: Hereafter)
May Allah forgive us and all Muslims, May Allah forgive us and His servants…
May Allah grant you and I the Gardens of Paradise, and may he gather us together in His Paradise. We’ll see you, and may Allah reward you with good.
Have you ever imagined what your life would be like if you could not even read? There are not a few people who neither can read nor have any opportunity to read in this world. However, I am endeavoring to encourage people who can both read and get quite adequately opportunity to read to concern about reading as much as you can in order to be the excellent one who is successful in life both this world and hereafter. For thousands times, we have heard of a book changing someone’s life, so it’s time for us to realize how reading change the way you feel about life, your ideas, and other expects of your life? In general, we know that learning to read not only means learning to pronounce words or to identify words, but also to bring meaning from a text in order to effectively use in our daily life. Although these definitions reflect long-standing views of reading that opens all eyes to a whole new way of thinking with bright vision, few of us take nearly as much advantage of it as we could. According to, reading is the first step in their paths of choosing their own life and being free from primitive habitual lifestyles. In my opinion, I’d like to insist that the power of reading is the most important keys for people to liberate themselves from the ignorance, disobedience, and psychological problems.
First of all, reading is a fundamental form of liberation for the darkness of ignorance (jahiliyah–in Arabic) in each individual or social in order to realize the truth (al-haq–in Arabic). The worst darkness of ignorance is that they don’t even know whom they worship. They neither know who they are nor what their life’s purposes? Actually, the answers have been already quoted in the Holy Qur’an which serves as a comprehensive blueprint for both the individual and society and as the primary source of knowledge for mankind. Reading is the initiation tool to bring them from the darkness to the light. In addition to that, the first revelation of the holy Qur’an, for instance, was started the verse with remarkably with special emphasis on the importance of “Reading” (اقرء or “Iqra”–in Arabic), which implies that reading is the crucial condition of knowledge (‘ilm–in Arabic). The first five verses that were sent to him were consisted of “Read (O Muhammad), in the Name of your Lord who has created (all that exists). He has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood). Read, and your Lord is the most generous. Who has taught (the writing) by the pen. He has taught man that which he knew not” (Quran, 96: 1-5). Those verses provide a forceful stimulus for Muslim to strive for education and learning by method of reading which is not only read book, but also read signs and symbols of God creation. Consequently, people cannot discover the proper right path in the light of faith unless they read.
Second, reading can help the readers to liberate from the disobedience or the loser status. Unlike general books, Qur’an guides us for life, death and what comes after so that it must be read to fulfill an Islamic duty (obligation). Allah said in9th verse of Surat Al-Isra that “Indeed, this Qur’an guides to that which is most suitable and gives good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a great reward” In addition, Qur’an will prove the reader on the day of Judgment. The Prophet (Peace Be upon Him), for instance, said: “Read the Qur’an, for verily it will come on the day of standing as an intercessor for its companions.” (Muslim). There are also ten rewards for each letter you recite from the Qur’an. As an authentic hadith in At-Tirmidhi proved that “Whoever reads a letter from the Book of Allah, he will have a reward, and that reward will be multiplied by ten. I am not saying that “Alif, Laam, Meem” is a letter, rather I am saying that “Alif” is a letter, “laam” is a letter and “meem” is a letter.” Hence, to increase your recitation of the Qur’an in order to gain these merits, and to gain the following merit as well. Moreover, one who reciters the Qur’an, will be in the company of the noble and obedient angels. Moreover, ‘Aa’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) related that the Prophet (Peace Be upon Him) said: “Verily the one who recites the Qur’an beautifully, smoothly, and precisely, he will be in the company of the noble and obedient angels. And as for the one who recites with difficulty, stammering or stumbling through its verses, then he will have twice that reward.” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim). Furthermore, Qur’an will lead you to Paradise, and your position in Paradise is determined by the amount of Qur’an you memorize in this life. For example, the Prophet (Peace Be upon Him) saying: “It will be said to the companion of the Qur’an: Read and elevate (through the levels of the Paradise) and beautify your voice as you used to do when you were in the dunya. For verily, your position in the Paradise will be at the last verse you recite” (Abu Dawood and At- Tirmidhi, sahih)
Third, reading affects strength of mind to liberate psychological problems. Normally, eating is the route of nutrients to enter the body, while reading is the way of messages to occupy the mind. Reading a good book generally allows you to develop an understanding of how to deal with a variety of physical and emotional situations. For example, the Quran is not just a beautiful Arabic literature but also a great source of excellent wisdoms to heal or support individual reader mind to cope or deal with daily life problems whenever they read. The recent study investigated the effects of reading the Holy Qur’an on Muslim psychology students of blood pressure, heart rate and perceived stress levels. It was found that participants’ heart rate, blood pressure, (systolic and diastolic) and perceived stress levels decreased after reading Surah Al-Shar and Surah Ar-Rahman from the Holy Qur’an. In contrast, no significant effects were seen from reading the non-religious Arabic material. It also stated that “Muslims who can read Arabic and who read the Holy Qur’an regularly can protect themselves from psychological diseases” (Abdullah, 2009)[1]. Moreover, reading variety of Islamic books, such a history, makes our mind open to learn in several of ideas in each situation in the past for applying to these days. It is also like a practice our mind to keep always fit and active.
In short, there are at least three benefits of reading to liberate the unpleasant status of ignorance, disobedience, and psychological problems by means of the Islamic guidance with the help of Allah who knows the best.
